Darlington

Heroin with an estimated value of more than £100,000 has been taken off the streets after police responded to an incident in Darlington.

A large quantity of drugs and a suspected stolen car were seized when officers attended a property in Mossbank Grove last night.

A man was arrested at the address and has since been charged with a number of offences.

The 32-year-old is due before Peterlee Magistrates’ Court today charged with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

He also faces charges of handling stolen goods and driving while disqualified.
