The Crime and Disorder Act 1998

Under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 Durham Constabulary has a statutory duty to work with key partners agencies to reduce crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse within Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs).

There are 14 Community Safety partnerships across County Durham and Darlington that work alongside the statutory partnerships.
