Griff

Meet Griff

Our 17-month-old German Shepherd is looking for a new and loving forever home.

Sadly, Griff doesn’t have what it takes to become a police dog, but we think he has a key role to play as a valued member of someone’s family.

He is a young dog, with plenty of energy and would enjoy living with an active family where he will get lots of exercise and regular walks.

The young pup is friendly and loves to play with other sociable dogs. He is crate trained and has lived both inside and outside.

Griff has plenty experience with different environments such as roads, noisy places, and travels well in vehicles.

He can pull a little on the leash, so some strong handling maybe required.

Given his young age and breed he can sometimes be excitable and boisterous so can only be rehomed with older children.

Homes will be favoured to those that have previous experience with the German Shepherd breed and to those who are already on our rehoming list with a specific interest in Griff.

We are asking for a donation of £650.

Anyone interested in offering Griff a new home, please email ann.younghusband@durham.police.uk for further information.

Home checks will need to be carried out before any rehome goes ahead.
