A bit about the role…
As an ICT Applications Analyst at Durham Constabulary you will play a pivotal role in delivering the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a multitude of police ICT systems and databases.
You will be part of a team of up to 7 staff.

A bit about you…
You will be an experienced Applications Analyst who is committed, self-motivated and leads by example. You will be required to have an aptitude for problem solving with analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate system faults and errors.
You will be an excellent team player with the ability to liaise with software suppliers in the implementation and support of their software, as well as implementing, testing and integrating new applications.
Particular experience of supporting/administering Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working in a fast-paced environment requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, alongside a good general understanding of ICT, systems and ability to adapt and learn new technologies on the job.
