Could you persuade young people not to carry a knife? Can you let victims and survivors suffering domestic abuse know how they can get help? Can you help attract the next generation of police officers so we can recruit the very best people to serve the public? 

We are looking for an innovative and highly-motivated marketing professional to join our small, award-winning team to develop campaigns which will make a genuine difference to the people of County Durham and Darlington.

A bit about you… 

You will be able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines, with a passion for making a real difference to the people of County Durham and Darlington.

Particular experience of designing, delivering, and evaluating ambitious and effective behaviour-change and informational campaigns is required. Alongside a track record in using innovation and creativity to develop content that achieves desired organisational outcomes.

Working in a fast-paced environment requires excellent communication and experience of working with and building contacts with external suppliers, partners, and advertising providers, as well as excellent planning, time management, and organisational skills. 

Qualifications / Experience Test
  • Professional qualification in marketing/digital marketing or related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a marketing and/or communications environment.
  • Experience of designing, planning, delivering an evaluating campaigns and marketing activities.
  • Experience of working with e-communications (inc. social media), photography, publications, and other marketing materials in a corporate environment.
