- Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Resource Unit based within the Operations Command working from HQ (some home working will be required at the discretion of the unit manager).
In this role, you will work with staff and officers from across the force at all grades and ranks. We deal with a range of departments and have a varying workload from staffing pre-planned events such as Lumiere to allocating officers to courses and resourcing spontaneous staffing requests. At times this can be a fast paced environment.
The successful person must be willing to learn all the roles within the Resourcing Team and will undertake a training plan which we have developed for all new members of staff. A flexible approach is needed in order to fulfil the requirements of weekend working and on call dates (including BHs-on a rota basis). On call is required once the successful candidate is trained to a level to be able to deal with such requests.
