As a Senior Developer at Durham Constabulary, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a unique product and assisting with the implementation of innovative solutions.
This is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies to develop the next generation platform for use in Policing.

A bit about you…
You will be a Senior Developer who has an aptitude for problem solving, be a good team player and assist in mentoring and coaching of members of the development team. If you are enthusiastic, committed, self-motivated and lead by example this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be an experienced Developer who is able to develop with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core and be able to write a well-structured and documented production quality code.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git Source Control and experience working with CI/CD is required.
Working in a fast-paced environment requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, alongside a good general understanding of troubleshooting skills.
Whilst our job description includes a multitude of requirements to cover the diverse nature of the applications we implement and provision, ideally for this role you would have some knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Experience on migrating on premise solutions to platform agnostic/cloud environment
- Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies
- Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
- Web Services
- Typescript
- TSQL
- Ability to work in an agile manner
- Experience working with SPA frameworks (Angular, Aurelia, React etc.)
- Azure DevOps
- Power Platform knowledge would be advantageous
