Our Road Incident Reporting service is for the reporting of road traffic incidents or uploading of dashcam footage that do not require immediate attention or attendance and as such it is not monitored 24/7.
The service will direct you through some Road Traffic Act guidance so if you answer all the questions accurately it will provide you and Durham Constabulary to the best course of action with how to proceed. If you cannot find the answer to your query please consider contacting us via telephone on 101. If you have reported your incident on the Road Incident Reporting service, you will receive an email with your reference number and some further contact numbers, please do not contact 101 after you have reported it on the system, please use the numbers provided. However in an emergency always call 999.
Abusive and nuisance messages will not be tolerated. We kindly ask that you refrain from misusing this facility. If you choose to ignore this message you could face criminal prosecution.
