  • 13 March 2019 - Tees Walk - speeding vehicles

    There have been reports of speeding vehicles in the Tees Walk area

This is what we have done

  • 10 April 2019 - Tees Walk - speeding vehicles

    ​Speedwatch has been carried out and during the time it was caried out 22 out of 40 vehicles were observed to be speeding.  Warning letters have been sent out.  Further Speedwatch patrols are planned.

    If residents have any concerns requested to report them by telephoning 101.

My name is Andy Reeves the Neighbourhood Inspector for Bishop Auckland. My aim is to make the Bishop Auckland area a safer place to live and work. I am committed to neighbourhood policing in my area, forging links with my local community and addressing the issues which matter to them. I lead a dedicated team of officers who aim to have a positive impact on the quality of life in the communities they serve. I would encourage people to attend our regular PACT meetings so that we can work together to agree local priorities. The Bishop Auckland team all work from one location at the main station located at Woodhouse Lane. This ensures all staff work closely as a team dealing with community issues across Bishop Auckland and its surrounding area.
