Priorities

You said your current priorities are:

Active Priorities

  • 31 October 2018 - Alpine Terrace - anti social behaviour

The anti social behaviour in Alpine Terrace is centred around the empty houses in the street.

This is what we have done

  • 29 November 2018 - Alpine Terrace - anti social behaviour

Patrols of the area have been carried out.  There have been no issues at time of patrols.  Patrols wil continue and every effort will be made to identify any individuals behaving in an anti social manner.

The Community House has recently opened staffed by YMCA personnel.  The Neighbourhood Policing Team and DCC Anti Social Behaviour Team have applied for funding to provide activities (pool table, board games, etc) in order to provide activities to keep the children occupied.

These are the policing priorities that local people have agreed with your policing team. You can have some influence on future policing priorities by attending your next PACT meeting.

Insp 2149 Andy Reeves

Insp. Andy Reeves

My name is Andy Reeves the Neighbourhood Inspector for Bishop Auckland. My aim is to make the Bishop Auckland area a safer place to live and work. I am committed to neighbourhood policing in my area, forging links with my local community and addressing the issues which matter to them. I lead a dedicated team of officers who aim to have a positive impact on the quality of life in the communities they serve. I would encourage people to attend our regular PACT meetings so that we can work together to agree local priorities. The Bishop Auckland team all work from one location at the main station located at Woodhouse Lane. This ensures all staff work closely as a team dealing with community issues across Bishop Auckland and its surrounding area.
