Priorities

You said your current priorities are:

Active Priorities

  • 14 January 2019 - Oakley Green & behind Spar Shop - Fires

Fires are being set in the area of Oakley Green and behind the Spar shop

This is what we have done

  • 15 February 2019 - Oakley Green & behind Spar Shop - Fires

Partrols by the Neighbourhood Policing Team and Street Wardens continue throughout the area.  A recent walk round was carried out by the Neighbourhood Team PCSOs, the Fire Service and a representative from DCC.  A pile of tyres had been dumped close to Oakley Green and these were cleared away imediately by the Council.  Patrols of the area will continue and every attempt will be made to identify those starting the fires.

These are the policing priorities that local people have agreed with your policing team. You can have some influence on future policing priorities by attending your next PACT meeting.

Insp 2149 Andy Reeves

Insp. Andy Reeves

My name is Andy Reeves the Neighbourhood Inspector for Bishop Auckland. My aim is to make the Bishop Auckland area a safer place to live and work. I am committed to neighbourhood policing in my area, forging links with my local community and addressing the issues which matter to them. I lead a dedicated team of officers who aim to have a positive impact on the quality of life in the communities they serve. I would encourage people to attend our regular PACT meetings so that we can work together to agree local priorities. The Bishop Auckland team all work from one location at the main station located at Woodhouse Lane. This ensures all staff work closely as a team dealing with community issues across Bishop Auckland and its surrounding area.
