  • 12 June 2019 - Farm Close / Proudfoot Drive & Snowdon Crescent area - drug activity

    There have been reports of drug activity / dealing around the Proudfoot Drive/Farm Close area and also the towards the bottom end of Snowdon Crescent.

This is what we have done

  • 10 July 2019 - Farm Close / Proudfoot Drive & Snowdon Crescent area - drug activity

    ​Covert and overt patrols are being carried out.  Various members of the community have been spoken to regarding drug activity.  Patrols of the area will continue and every attempt will be made to identify those involved. Action will be taken against any individual found to be in posession of/dealing in drugs.  If you have any information please do not hesitate to call 101.

My name is Andy Reeves the Neighbourhood Inspector for Bishop Auckland. My aim is to make the Bishop Auckland area a safer place to live and work. I am committed to neighbourhood policing in my area, forging links with my local community and addressing the issues which matter to them. I lead a dedicated team of officers who aim to have a positive impact on the quality of life in the communities they serve. The Bishop Auckland team all work from one location at the main station located at Woodhouse Lane. This ensures all staff work closely as a team dealing with community issues across Bishop Auckland and its surrounding area.
