This is what we have done

  • 24 July 2018 - PACT Priority for Edmondsley
Police have had 4 calls relating sheep escaping from the fields on Edmondsley Lane near to Holmside Park.
    Edmondsley Primary School
Attendance at the Primary school to enforce any obstructions and illegal parking on dropping off and picking up times. Verbal Warnings have been handed to numerous parents/guardians around parking on the keep clears around the school and the ZIG ZAG lines near to school entrance. I have sent an email to the parking enforcement teams at the council to do a joint enforcement.
However, due to the schools breaking up for the summer, it is likely this will happen in the new term. However, I will be taking the time over the six weeks to engage with the relevant services to see if there is anything that we can do reduce the complaints. The school have been engaging brilliantly with the police and are always looking at new ideas to the help the community with this concern.
