Active Priorities

  • 24 July 2018 - Environmental Nuisance and ASB:

    Environmental Nuisance:

There has been reports of a caravan parking in Ouston Community Centre's private car park. Local residents have complained about this and the occupant to the police and on social media.

Off-road bikes in Walter's Wood have been reported to police.

This is what we have done

  • 24 July 2018 - Environmental Nuisance and ASB:
After a long process contacting the local authority; and with partnership working the caravan that had been causing issues at the community centre has now been removed.
Neighbourhood officers are working to identify offenders and will be conducting high visibility patrols in the area to deter crime and ASB. We believe that the off-road bikes are local to the area.
There is no set 'PACT Meeting' currently planned for this area. As your neighbourhood policing team we are currently reviewing how we interact with our community to better serve you. If you do wish to discuss any issues with a member of the your neighbourhood team please feel free to call into Pelton Police Office or you can attend and speak with officers at Grange Villa Community Centre on the dates below.
Please see below the PACT meeting dates for 2018:
    Wednesday, 12th September 2018 at 18:00
    Wednesday, 10th October 2018 at 18:00
    Wednesday, 7th November 2018 at 18:00
    Wednesday, 5th December 2018 at 18:00

These are the policing priorities that local people have agreed with your policing team. You can have some influence on future policing priorities by attending your next PACT meeting.
