  • 24 July 2018 - Off Road bikes Pelton Fell

    Pelton Fell:

    Historically there have been issues with the use of off road bikes within Congburn Woods. These Off road bikes have been coming from both Waldridge and Pelton Fell. 

    ​Newfield:

    ASB in Newfield on the public green behind South View. Reports of under-age drinking and noise complaints from local residents.

This is what we have done

  • 24 July 2018 - Off Road bikes Pelton Fell
    PELTON FELL:  PCSO Walters and residents of Pelton Fell and Waldridge have formed the "Friends of Congburn Woods" group to tackle off road bikes and misuse of the woods. We have a group that can be found on Facebook where updates are posted.
     
    The  aim of this group it to tackle the many issues that have surrounded the woods over the years, this includes off road bikes, fly tipping and general litter problems. This group will be assisting the park rangers in carrying out various tasks to ensure the woods are protected and accessible to all.
    Many community groups and representatives are involved in this group. If you would like to get involved please email PCSO Walters below:

    NEWFIELD:  Although no major trends to report patrols have been conducted in the area.
    Newfield Residents meetings are held on the first Monday of each month.

    There is no set 'PACT Meeting' currently planned for this area. As your neighbourhood policing team we are currently reviewing how we interact with our community to better serve you. If you do wish to discuss any issues with a member of the your neighbourhood team please feel free to call into Pelton Police Office or you can attend and speak with officers at Grange Villa Community Centre on the dates below.
