Active Priorities

  • 25 May 2017 - Urpeth Grange - Vehicle crime
    There has been an increase of vehicle crime in Ouston. Please stay vigilant and report any suspicious persons or vehicles to Police.
    Please make sure your vehicles are left secure and all valuables are removed from the vehicle when you leave your vehicle.
  • 07 June 2017 - Anti Social Behaviour
    At the recent PACT Meeting residents agreed that high visibility patrols will be the priority for West Pelton. Individuals are causing anti-social behaviour in public areas in West Pelton.
     
    Fly tipping, Off road bikes is also affecting Beamish, High Handenhold and West Pelton on public paths and woodland.

This is what we have done

  • 27 September 2016 - Urpeth Grange - Vehicle crime
    Neighbourhood officers are working to identify offenders and will be conducting visible patrols in Ouston to offer reassurance to the public.
     
    Urpeth PACT meeting has been merged with Ouston PACT. This has been discussed with residents groups for Ouston and Urpeth who both agree this is for the best. The meeting is the 3rd Wednesday of every month, 7PM at Ouston Community Centre.
     
    High Visibility around the community will continue to be the main priority until discussed at the next meeting. 
     
  • 26 June 2017 - Anti Social Behaviour
    High visibility patrols will be carried out by police at West Pelton throughout the village. Police are working with Neighbourhood Wardens to identify those responsible for fly tipping in the area.
