Priorities

You said your current priorities are:

Active Priorities

  • 02 February 2019 - February 2019
This month our priority is door to door sellers operating in the village.

This is what we have done

  • 02 February 2019 - February 2019
Lanchester is a hotspot area for door to door sellers especially adult males claiming to be working for Probation Service.  Additional patrols will be carried out during daylight hours to identify individuals operating in our area.  If you have anyone knocking at your door trying to sell items please telephone 101 with full information, including description and direction of travel.

    Winternights
Houses in darkness are more likely to be targeted by burglars.  Follow our simple steps to stop becoming their next target.
    • Use timers to light the house even when you are out
    • Don't leave gifts on view
    • Install an alarm - and use it!
    • Lock doors and windows
    • Close curtains and/or blinds
    • Register your property so if it's stolen and recovered, you can get it back (www.immobilise.com)

On Saturday 3rd March 2019 between 10-11am PCSO 6780 Lisa Cullen-Jackson will be holding a Street PACT on Front Street, Lanchester.  If you have any problems or queries please come along.

These are the policing priorities that local people have agreed with your policing team. You can have some influence on future policing priorities by attending your next PACT meeting.
