We are improving the way we engage with you via PACT (police and communities together). It may mean some poorly attended PACT meetings are cancelled, but alternative ways to engage will be introduced instead. It could see your neighbourhood PC or PSCO visiting places like the local library, baby groups, post office, sports classes or even the pub to hear your views.  Visit your neighbourhood policing team website page or Facebook and Twitter feeds for the latest details.

Crime Mapper

Edward Turner

My name is Ed Turner and I am the Neighbourhood Inspector responsible for the rural districts of Teesdale and Weardale. This covers the whole of Teesdale excluding Evenwood, Toft Hill, Etherley and Hamsterley which are policed by officers from Bishop Auckland for geographical and response reasons. In Weardale I cover Crook, Willington, Tow Law and the Upper dale including Stanhope and Wolsingham. My aim is always to work with residents, key stakeholders and partners to reduce offences, detect crime and maintain community confidence.
