Vehicles parking causing obstruction and creating issues on Newhouse Rd and Esh Primary school continues to be problematic.

Vehicles found to be parked on public roads without valid road tax will be reported

Off road motorbikes continue to cause ASB around the Waterhouses-Esh woods area.

This is what we have done

  • 26 February 2019 - ESH WINNING, WATERHOUSES and HAMILTON ROW

Warning letters and information booklets have been distributed to 9 addresses suspected of transporting Off-road motorbikes into the area.

Council have been made aware of ongoing issues and DCC wardens are aware and will patrol regarding obstructive and illegal parking.

Parking enforcement details have been passed to members of the community to report  inconsiderate and illegal parking to NSL and DCC

Police and DCC will be patrolling the area to prevent dangerous and inconsiderate parking

Hi-visibility patrols are being carried out in your area and officers will continue to engage with residents, schools and partnerships such as Durham County council street wardens and housing providers to prevent and tackle any anti-social behaviour in the village.

These are the policing priorities that local people have agreed with your policing team. You can have some influence on future policing priorities by attending your next PACT meeting.
