Speeding vehicles on West Auckland Road
This is what we have done
As discussed at the PACT meeting of 11/01/2017, PCSO Robson liaised with Traffic Management and Durham County Council to conduct a survey, as a result of which, an enforcement vehicle was used on West Auckland Road and offenders identified and dealt with.
This area will continue to be monitored and enforcement action taken. All members of the community are invited to volunteer for the Community Speedwatch programme, details of which can be obtained from Shildon Police Office.
These are the policing priorities that local people have agreed with your policing
team. You can have some influence on future policing priorities by attending your
next PACT meeting.
We are very keen to ensure that we are tackling issues which matter to you in your community. With our colleagues in the local authority, we have developed PACT meetings to ensure that you have a chance to engage with local officers from your beat team
The meetings will be attended by a representative from your Neighbourhood Policing Team and will be specific to your area and individual neighbourhood priorities will be discussed. All members of the community are welcome.
