Active Priorities

  • 09 May 2017 - Thickley Ward PACT meeting

Fly tipping on the Tunnel Top to the rear of Cedar Grove / Chestnut Close / Birch Avenue

Vehicle speed on Jubilee Road, corner with Jasmine Avenue / Chestnut Close

Youths using aerosols to the rear of the Community Centre

Cars potentially blocking access for fire engines at Glaisedale Gardens

This is what we have done

  • 11 May 2017 - Thickley Ward PACT meeting

Durham County Council liaised with in relation to the fly tipping.

A new Speed Watch group ran by volunteers is looking at being set up in this area to tackle all speeding complaints.

All retail premises have been visited in relation to aerosol cans.  All stated that they have not sold large amounts, especially to youths as there is an age restriction placed on them.

Numerous visits to the Glaisedale Garden area have been conducted.  No obstructions noted.  These checks will continue.

These are the policing priorities that local people have agreed with your policing team. You can have some influence on future policing priorities by attending your next PACT meeting.
