  • 16 October 2018 - Wingate - Off Road Bikes

    September 2018 Anti Social Behaviour and use of off road bikes and speeding

    Our current priority for Wingate is anti-social behaviour and use of off road bikes being driven around Wingate particulary on public roads at all times of the day and night. Also, speeding on the main streets of Wingate. 


  • 16 October 2018 - Trimdon

    Engagement with resident's and children of Trimdon.

    Our current priority for Trimdon is engaging with children and making them aware of the effects on the community from Anti Social Behaviour.

    Speeding/parking on Station Road and Wingate Road

    Our current priority is the speeding and parking on Station Road. This is a main concern when children and members of the public are walking in the street and wanting to cross the road.

    September 2018 Anti Social Behaviour and use of off road bikes and speeding

    We are current​ly investigating these concerns by communicating with partner agencies in order to reduce issues conducting a problem solving approach. Community intelligence has been received and is being acted on by officers in area with warning notices issued to offenders. A multi-agency walkabout is to be conducted on 1st May 2018 with the aim of identifying a problem solving approach to the issue. 26/04/18​

    Community Intelligence has led to a visit conducted on a residents address. No bikes located. 30/04/18 

    A community walkabout was conducted in the area, all agencies involved are working towards a problem solving approach to issues. 01/05/18

    Community Cupper with a Copper/Councillor was held at Gulley House, Wingate. 01/05/18

    Pro-active patrols have been conducted and community intelligence has been received. 16/05/18

    Community intelligence has been received and is being investigated by NPT officers. Priority is to remain in place until the end of the summer months. 19/07/2018

    ​Several site visits conducted in the areas of Wingate with multiple agencies with further problem solving and approaches ongoing to prevent the anti-social use of off road bikes. 10/10/2018

  • 16 October 2018 - Trimdon

    This is what we have done

    Anti Social Behaviour and engagement with community

    We have done an Anti Social Behaviour talk Friday 27th July 2018 at Trimdon Resident's Association, May Crescent. This is to make children aware of the consequences for themselves and the impact on the community.

    We have also been into Deaf Hill Primary School with our cohesion officer and gave a presentation around hate crime and the effects of it. 

    Speeding/parking on Station Road, Wingate Road and Thornley Road. 

    High visibility patrols carried out daily. We have completed a Community Speed Watch with the Mini Police from Deaf Hill Primary School on Station Road.   

    We have conducted a Community Speed Watch on Thornley Road. 

    ​Another Community Speed Watch has been conducted on Wingate Road.
