    Trimdon Day of Action

A multi agency day of action took place on 14/02/2019. We started our day by having a Speed Watch with the students at Deaf Hill Primary School on Thornley Road. We had a total of 23 cars pass us with no speeding. Officers from the Road Policing Unit also looked at speeding on Wingate Road into Trimdon Station where tickets were issued to several motorists throughout the course of the day. We then went on to seize an abandoned vehicle. Community meetings were held, walkabouts were also conducted and the day of action was well received by the community.
