It's been a busy month for our force musicians

Durham Constabulary's band and male voice choir are halfway through a very hectic but successful December.

The group kicked off this month's events with ‘Brass at Ushaw’ on December 1, before moving onto a sell-out show at Holy Trinity Church in Murton.

The concerts raised a total of £900 for the Hospital of God at Greatham's, Seaham Day Centre.

St. Mary’s RC Church in Bishop Auckland then opened its doors on December 7 with a further £403 being raised for Marie Curie.

Now, the band and choir only have two events left on this year’s calendar:

A Carol Service at St. Cuthbert's church on North Road, Durham – Sunday, December 16 from 3.30pm

A Christmas Concert at Spennymoor Town Hall on Friday, December 21 from 7pm

Tickets for our Christmas Concert are still available but limited.

They can be purchased from Spennymoor Town Hall or by contacting durhamconstabularymvc@outlook.comor 07810 188 276.

All profits will be donated to the Bradley Lowery’s foundation's 'A safe bedroom for Ben' appeal.
