 CCTV appeal following theft in Co-op bank, Durham


Police investigating a theft from an elderly man have released CCTV footage of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The victim withdrew a large amount of money from the Co-op bank in Durham City on Tuesday (November 12) at around 10.30am, he left the bank and on his return at 11.15am he noticed the sum was missing.

It is believed the suspect removed the money while the victim was walking around the city centre.

She is described as being of medium build, with dark hair wearing a dark coat and dark woollen hat.
