Cops have been tackling anti-social bikers in Seaham this weekend.

Cleveland and Durham’s Motorcycle Unit alongside Easington Neighbourhood team were out in force on Sunday (January 6) to target ongoing anti-social riding in Seaton Village, a known problem site.

Officers from the unit seized two bikes and also arrested a 26-year old man for possession of Class A drugs, driving not in accordance with a licence and no insurance. A 23-year-old was also reported for driving not in accordance with a licence and no insurance.

The partnership working day forms part of Operation Endurance which aims to crackdown on off-road bikers who are causing a nuisance to communities.

You can contact your local neighbourhood officers or email opendurance@durham.pnn.police.uk to get in touch with the team.
