Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Newton Aycliffe.

The incident occurred at around 3.20am on Friday (September 13) on Neville Parade.

A delivery driver was delivering stock to John’s Mini Market when he was approached by two men wearing ski masks who threatened him with a knife.

The pair demanded stock from him before making off.

The victim did not sustain any injuries.

The first suspect is described as being in his early twenties, white, of large build around 5ft 10in tall. He was wearing a black ski mask, black hooded top with zip up front, black gloves and dark bottoms.

The second suspect described as white, of large build, around 5ft 11in tall. He was also wearing a black ski mask, light grey hooded jumper with white stripes down the arm and black gloves.

Anyone with information in relation to the robbery is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 124 of September 13.
